Stone chimney and terrace wall with cut stone steps down to turf

Custom stone · The craft side

If it is stone, we build it.

Custom stone entrances, flagstone patios and terraces, seat walls, fire pits and outdoor fireplaces. Built by the same crew that builds engineered retaining walls, to the same standard.

Permanent, not placed

The difference between a yard and a place is masonry.

Furniture gets dragged around. Stone stays. Seat walls, columns, veneer, steps, capstones: the built in pieces are what make an outdoor space feel permanent instead of placed.

The same hands that set a structural wall set the bench you sit on. That matters, because the pretty work is still construction: it wants a prepared base, a pitch that sheds water, and joints that were cut, not hoped into place.

What we build

Anything stone, start to finish

01

Custom stone entrances

Entry walls, columns and steps that set the tone for the whole property before the front door. Commercial and residential.

02

Flagstone patios and terraces

Set on prepared base, pitched to drain, cut to fit. Stone laid over raw dirt heaves and rocks; stone set on base stays where it was laid.

03

Fire pits

Built in stone, sized for the space, made to be sat around.

04

Outdoor fireplaces

A full masonry fireplace turns a yard into a room, with a focal point that still works in January.

05

Seat walls and banquettes

Built in seating along walls and patios. Furniture you never have to put away.

06

Steps, caps and veneer

Cut stone steps, capstones strong enough to sit on, and veneer that ties new work into what is already there.

The six that decide the number. One tap each, skip any of them. It is the difference between a guess and a real answer on the phone.

How much grade are you holding?

Pace it off. Close is fine.

What is on top of it?

This is the question that changes the wall.

Roughly how long is the wall?
Where does the water go now?

Water is what takes walls down, so this is not a small question.

Can a machine get to it?
Commercial or residential?
When?
